Built around the music you love
There are no grade books and no fixed curriculum. Each lesson starts from songs you already want to play. Bring one along: Daniel works it out in real time, on the spot, and arranges it to your level. It stays recognisably the song, simpler where you need it and more detailed as you improve.
However complicated the song, Daniel can bring it to a level that suits you, or go into it in depth until you’ve mastered every technical detail.
Applied theory
Lessons are built on understanding how music works: harmony, intervals and modes. You learn to find a song’s key and chords yourself, so you know why you’re playing what you play, rather than just following notes on a page.
From practice to recording
As you progress, you work towards recording and producing your own tracks in Daniel’s studio, or at home: he can also bring his portable studio to your place. You finish with something real to share, and something to show when you join or start a band. That goes for younger students too.
